Company boilerplate
In eighty words or fewer.
Big Ben Suite is a London short-let and Hybrid-Let management company (Companies House 14892371, ICO ZB621904) operating from a flagship in Canary Wharf, E14. Founded in 2025, it publishes a numbered Public Claim Ledger and a written 48-hour claim policy ahead of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 Phase 1 commencement on 1 May 2026. The Founding 10 cohort is the first ten owners onboarded under a lifetime fee lock.
Story hooks · five angles
Five ways to frame the story.
Each angle is self-contained — pick one, pick two, or commission the long-form. Every claim referenced under each hook is traced at /transparency/claims.
- 01
The letting agent that publishes its own audit trail.
Most managers publish testimonials. Big Ben Suite publishes a numbered Public Claim Ledger: every figure on the site, linked to its source, dated, and governed by a written 48-hour retract-or-cite policy. The artefact itself is the story.
- 02
How RRA 2025 reshapes London's short-let economy from 1 May 2026.
Section 21 ends. Assured shorthold tenancies convert to periodic. Form 4A replaces ad-hoc rent reviews. Phase 1 commencement forces every London manager to rewrite AST templates, evidence trails, and fee schedules inside a single quarter — a structural shift, not a tweak.
- 03
Why 'lifetime price lock' is moving from crypto into property services.
The Founding 10 cohort buys a management fee locked for the life of the agreement — a pricing convention imported from web-native subscriptions into UK letting. It is a direct answer to fee creep, and it is written into the contract, not the copy.
- 04
Inside a 48-hour claim challenge policy: operational transparency as competitive moat.
Any reader — owner, tenant, regulator, journalist — can email the compliance inbox and receive, within forty-eight business hours, either a cited source or a public retraction. No silent edits. The policy is published, versioned, and CI-lint-guarded.
- 05
Turnkey compliance: what the accidental London landlord needs to know before Section 21 goes.
Inherited flats, relocation lets, empty pieds-a-terre: tens of thousands of casual London landlords face a statutory rewrite they did not plan for. RRA 2025 makes turnkey compliance a service category, not a nice-to-have — and a measurable market.

We didn't set out to publish a ledger. We set out to answer every question a landlord would ask — and realised the only honest way to do that was in public.
Every manager will have to meet the 1 May 2026 standard. We just decided to publish our workings a year early.
Methodology
How the Public Claim Ledger works.
Every quantified or performance claim on bigbensuite.co.uk is entered as a numbered row in the ledger at /transparency/claims. Each row carries plain-English framing, a source URL or document reference, the date of last verification, and a map of the public surfaces on which the claim appears.
Challenges are received at compliance@bigbensuite.co.uk. An acknowledgement lands within twelve hours; a cited source, a retraction on every live surface, or a written extension with a concrete new deadline lands within forty-eight business hours. Retractions are logged publicly — no silent edits. The policy is published in full at /transparency/policy.
The substantiation matrix — how Big Ben Suite’s posture compares, on public artefacts only, to the wider market — is at /compare. No named operator appears in that comparison; the framing is factual and neutral per CAP 3.33.
